Lymphatic filariasis
Lymphatic filariasis, also known as elephantiasis, is a tropical disease caused by parasitic worms. It is transmitted through the bites of infected mosquitoes and is prevalent in Nigeria, leading to severe swelling of the limbs and genitals in infected individuals.

- Infection with filarial worms transmitted by mosquito bites

Symptoms
